Rainer- Pokegod by chanchimi Rainer- Pokegod by chanchimi
Yeah, I'm really bored....

Anywhoozer, BEHOLD! The Legendary Pokegod, RAINER! The evolution of Blastoise! (Looks evil, don't it?)

Description: The Storm Pokemon
It has been said to be seen evolving from a Blastoise during a treacherous storm and is supposedly able to blast enough water from its jets to cause floods capable of leveling even the biggest cities.

I love these Pokegods. I once used a Gameshark code for Rainer, and it completely glitched up my game. xD It was cool though, it had a really high number in the Pokedex and had a psycho sounding cry. I wonder who created the Pokegods in the first place.....

Thanks for looking!

these sprites are awesome, just a question though, could you possibly make back sprites for these, at least the starters cause they are amazing

Yo! This is the first Pokegod that i got.
I must say that you honor me by making this sprite, i just named my sqirtle rainer, took it to level 35, gave it a rarecandy and did the gameshark code.
It would be cool if this sprite would apper in the actual game.
Smell ya later!

Ha ha, thank you!
I loved using the Pokegod Gameshark codes, even though there weren't really any Pokegods.
No, smell YA later! ;)

This is cool... I'd like it better if it were custom rather than an edit, but you did a really good job on this one (I'd say it's the best of all your Pokégod sprites).

And in the game, I think it's cool that one version (index number C4) of the glitch Pokémon known as Rainer actually says "Rainer" when you view his stats. Sure, it's obviously just the word "Trainer" being split onto a second line, but it's still cool.

I wrote a Journal about the Pokégods... here it is if youre intersted:

A lot of the information was from Digit-Aria's site, along with old rumours I've found on fan pages, and I even included information on how to obtain many of the real Pokégods (the glitch Pokémon).

Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it! Rainer was actually the first Pokegod I made even though its just an edit. Ha ha.

That is cool, and nice journal! I love the info on obtaining the Pokegods that you have on there. :D

This is a really great design for Rainer. It's especially great that you decided to customize the original first gen sprites, since those really capture the feeling of the PokeGods the best.

Thank you very much! I really appreciate it! :D Yeah, I felt it would've added to the Pokegod if I went with the first-gen sprites, since that's where they all originated from! :)

No problem. I have a site about the PokeGods so it always makes me smile to see anyone talking about them or making art. Especially cool designs like yours. :D

Any plans to make others?

Really? I'd like to see your site! I feel the same way about seeing Pokegod things, I especially always find it interesting how they spread all over the internet way back when. And again, thank you very much! :D

I probably will make some others, not sure which ones, though.

Cool. My site is here: [link]

It's a pretty big page since we have all the information in one place and are planning to update it later by dividing all the articles onto their own pages. Until then it's a little bit of a read. If you're interested, I have updated Houou, Bruno, and Hifishi articles, as well as Unidentified Dragon and Togepy articles that were never up. Just let me know if you want more information on those ones.

That's really cool. Maybe you'll find inspiration on my site. :D

Oh wow.... I've been on your site before! In fact, I made my Rainer sprite after reading everything! It's a great site, I personally really enjoyed it. I'll go read your updated pages now! :D

I've already had inspiration from your site! Haha! Since you made such an amazing site, I'll definitely make another Pokegod sprite! Is there any you'd want me to make in particular?

Haha. The site's been up for a few months now and it's getting to a point that everyone I talk to about the PokeGods has been there. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The pages I mentioned that are updated aren't up yet. I brought them up because if you were interested I'd send them to you. The articles I mentioned are currently very outdated, so the newer versions that we've yet to put up are almost entirely re-written.

Hm... There's so many! I feel bad asking for any of them since so many of them are interesting. I suppose I'd be most interesting in seeing something done with Hifishi, since that's the one I've researched the most, but a complete set with Charcolt and Sapusaur would be great. :D

It's a great site. I ended spending some more time earlier looking at even more.

I noticed! But yeah, I'd be interested in them! By the way, have you ever tried the Pokegod codes? They're kind of fun to mess with! :D

Don't feel bad! They're probably the most interesting thing that's part of Pokemon out there. Not probably, they are! It always makes me wonder..... Who made the first Pokegod? Hifishi is one I don't know quite as well, but I can always try! I was eventually planning on doing Charcolt and Sapusaur too. Hmm, I'll have to get creative with those! :)
